Thanks Andrewwoey and Harry Notts. I'll pick up the ratty second C100 next week and try the carb on my good C100. Depending on how that pans out, I'll have a look at the Chinese engines for the ratty C100.
After having a look at various different ones, it appears that the Loncin one is regarded as better than others? Also there is a 125cc Lifan one.
Does anyone have an opinion about whether Loncin is better than Lifan? How about the 125cc? Will that fit?
When I check the power output of the Chinese, it appears that they are not all the same? The Loncin seems to be rated as having a higher power output. Interesting that none of them produce maximum power at 9500RPM like the original Honda engine.
