Most early 6v c90 need a bracket to fit the engine as the rear mount does not align. I am not sure about the C100. Some one with knowledge of these bikes should be along soon. The Chinese 110 engines are great if you respect them. Most of us oil change every 1000 miles. As long as you don't smash them through the gears then all should be ok. They have slight weak selector forks in the gear box, and they don't like abuse. Mostly abuse by kits on pit bikes. Check the valve clearances on the new engine, and replace the transportation oil that comes in the engine.
A unknown problem can be soul destroying at times. I think we have all been through it at some time or another. Keep at it. You will enjoy the cub.
