I see that you still use the original air filter arrangement Neil? I fitted a Chinese ATC carburettor and BBR inlet to the Wuyang engine(your favourite manufacturer) in my 90ZZ and it seemed to breathe better through a cheapo K&N cone filter than when I connected it up to the original filter box with a Honda element fitted. It ran richer at full throttle with the Honda filter than the K&N so I played about with smaller main jets to sort that out,but it still wasn't as good. The aftermarket filters are so noisy though aren't they?
