The Piesel has given me an insight into the relative compression ratio's of my bikes, Poppet seems to have the highest compression ratio on the basis that it pinks the most under load when run on Piesel. My poor friend H not only had to put up with the smell of diesel smoke as he followed me on the M50, but was also convinced we were going to get run over on the uphill's as I kept having to back the throttle off further and further to stop the pinking, at times we were down to 30mph, I was seriously scared and ashamed. Maybe I could use it to light the BBQ...if it wasn't Autumn. Scruff runs ok on the Piesel but pops a lot on overrun.
