Hi Barker,

Are you referring to the little plunger in the front-right of the carb, that squirts a bit of extra fuel in at about half throttle?

When I got the bike the plunger indeed had seized up, and the spring underneath it was indeed missing. I freed up the pump and popped in a biro spring and it squirts petrol plentifully (indeed, directly into my eye when I was testing it).

Is this part of the carb likely to cause bad idling though? It seems to only operate at higher revs.
