Wow Bogger, that is so very kind of you but unfortunately I use the bike daily as it is my only mode of transport.

I noticed today (after tinkering with the idle yesterday), a quick turn of the throttle will not always make the engine respond in the speed it normally does. So could the throttle cable be a problem?

I also noticed sometimes the idle speed will differ, not much, but noticeable. Also sometimes in neutral the idle speed is what it is but when I step into gear, it drops slightly.

The trouble is, I have played with the idle so much now, I am confusing myself.

The spanners, feelers, isolator and O ring for the carb/inlet has arrived, so I will look at that hopefully on the weekend.

I am going to buy a new throttle and choke cable.
