Thanks Wightegi, but my continuing problem is the idling.

I have just taken apart the carb again and checked it all over.

Replaced and tried it out.

I set it to what I think is okay but when I pull back on the throttle quite quickly and release, the bike struggles to respond and sometimes cuts out.

Sometimes turning the idle screw, nothing seems to happen in terms of the engine responding.

I am at a loss so any suggestions will be gratefully received.
