Speed doesn't kill. Astronauts have to travel at 25000 mph to escape earth orbit and 18000 mph to stay in orbit and they don't die because of the speed. What kills is the abrupt stopping, like hitting another vehicle, tree, lamp post, road sign, brick wall. Staying away from items that cause rapid deceleration is likely to enhance your life and motorcycling pleasure.
