As you may already know, in their wisdom 
the DVLA decided that I wasn't a full licence holder so I had to go back to L plates. This, of course, meant taking a CBT which I had never done previously. That in itself was a bit of an eye opener and very informative. Now having to get ready to take my bike test again and re-learn old and new things, I maintain that a lot of experienced drivers/riders could struggle to pass their test again if they ever had the misfortune to have to take it again.
