Well the new crankshaft arrived from OO Racing and whilst it looks pretty similar to the Lifan 125 crank there are a small differences. The Big end pin is smaller the Lifan = 26mm, New = 25mm. The new crank uses 6304 main bearings which sit on a 20mm diameter like a C90, as opposed to the 125 Lifan crank which is 25mm at this point and uses 6205 bearings. All this means that the new crank could potentially flex more than the Lifan crank. The other difference is that the oil pump drive gear on the new crank is smaller and will need to be swapped. Interestingly they both appear to have originated from the same manufacturer as they are both marked LF GH....Lifan Iâ€™m guessing.
