Hi Andrew. Sorry to hear of your bad luck with the OO racing 140 kit. That's what Scruffs existing engine is, basically a Lifan 125 with a OO Racing 57mm barrel and high compression piston. To start with cooling was a problem, but sorted with an oil cooler and a big scoop fitted to the side of the leg shields. Since then no problem and it doesn't even burn oil on motorways with both of us on board. Just make sure you run the mixture on the rich side.
