Yes, I know all this. I was just giving a warning reminder to people to be aware and alert especially for someone who may be more vulnerable. They are totally plausible whilst on the phone and some people could readily believe all that they say. The policewoman told me that their latest victim did fall for it and lost most of her life savings before her daughter twigged what had happened and got the card blocked. Because she'd willingly given her card details and the card the bank is washing it's hands of the matter.
