hi dave, i,ve often wondered with all the gearbox problems with the early chinese 110,s , did they opt to mildly detune them to aid reliability?. ive never ridden a bike with a lifan engine but i,ve always excpected more out of these 110,s i,ve had. maybe a honda nice 110 or the modenas is a better reflection of 110 power?. the modenas engine as you know is quite peaky, riding back down the a16 from belgium to calais it struggled at 50 ( unloaded) , yet on the way home was happy 55/60 loaded. much must depend on wind also.
