It turns out it may not need a new cylinder after all. Apparently it has not been running for 3 years and it was 'assumed' it needed a new cylinder and piston. It has only done 3k miles, I dont know what could have happened to require such work. Then it was stripped to sell as parts but not sold and that is what I am getting. My proxy buyer is not a bike man but he reckons all the parts are there, may be missing some nuts and bolts I suppose. It is a few hundred miles away so it will be a few weeks before I get my hands on it.
It comes with a new tyre and inner tube though I don't know when they were new. There is some rust on the wheels I am told. I will post some pictures when I get my hands on it
