There has been some talk on the other board with regard to insuring modified 90's, so I gave my insurance company a call.
I told them I was considering changing the 90 motor for a Honda 125.
I was asked about BHP - 7.5 at 9500 rpm for the 90 and 8.5 bhp for the 125 at 7500 rpm. I was told 'It's not something we would want to insure'.
I don't want to change companies, 4 bikes on policy for £115 p.a., and they've been happy about the other modifications as they don't affect the performance.
I'll have to leave it as it is then.
