So long as the nuts are tight - no problem.
Bicycles of that era will have BSC threads everywhere, they are usually 26tpi so quite fine and unlikely to come undone due to vibration or similar.
You may notice that the forks have a pronounced curve and a very relaxed headstock angle, makes for a very stable ride especially over un-surfaced roads as this what was mostly around in the 1930's between villages.
The frame sizes will seem huge compared to todays compact designs but as the seatpost tube is as relaxed an angle as the headstock your feet will be closer to the ground (pedals further forwards than todays machines).
An excellent choice for relaxed touring and day rides, especially with a Sturmey hubgear.
