One or two gentlemen here have arcane knowledge of vintage iron cycles. Have just stripped and sprayed a 1930 Triumph cycle. Looking good. Been doing a bit of walking recently but as I get older I'm getting more foot problems. Gaffer tape socks can get you a few miles further each day but they are not pleasant. Did Wigan to the top of Penygent in the Yorkshire Dales last week. Had to get Blue dog picked up in Settle ss his pads had worn through. Cycling equals new fronteers without blisters. One question.... Is there a simple way to secure ancient front wheels into the forks. ? Mate of mine lost the front wheel of his mountain bike a couple of years ago. He is still recovering. Next stage to this masochism is walking on hot coals. Had some nice times though. Regards. Bob.
