I really wouldn't bother with an electric start Cub. In my opinion it is an unnecessary complication which just adds extra weight. A Cub in good condition will start with just gentle pressure on the kickstarter. Stick with any of the square headlight models and you will be fine. Older ones with points ignition, especially 6volt, are really just dinosaurs for old Cub fanatics to play with. The vital point to look for is corrosion under the rear mudguard, by the suspension mounts, as somebody has mentioned. This is a surefire MoT failure. It can often be welded, but it a time-consuming job involving a great deal of work.
