A significant amount of progress today, I got the battery fitted, more or less just need a rubber strap to hold it in place. The front end is complete except for the plastic trim. Engine, chain, rear brakes fitted and drained the shipping oil. The C90 magnetic sump plug does not fit the Lifan110 so if anyone knows where to buy one? Not that much left to do, carb, electrics, petrol tank seat and exhaust.
I bought a screen on Ebay for £28 delivered and I have fitted the handlebar mount.
The other non standard item I want to fit is a luggage rack on the front wheel. I think the easisest thing to do would be to modify a bicycle rear rack and pannier carrier. Rather than a basket I want to fit something similar to a top box about 15 to 20 litres in size.
I know you all cannot get enough photos of our favourite bike so heres a little more soft bike porn.
