But it makes sense the C90 has about 7.4 to 8 BHP the Lifan 6 to 7 BHP whilst the torque is about identical. So really what I need is a 4 speed gearbox for the C90. I wonder how much work to make the C90 crankcase take a Lifan gearbox. If the gearbox isn't too expensive I would even buy one on spec or maybe get a complete Lifan engine and just play about.

That could be the way to go get a Lifan 110 to get the bike OTR quick and then play about at leisure.

You have definitely got me thinking. Much as I love the C90, they are a PITA in (hilly) Edinburgh.

Just trying to get the new tyre onto the rear wheel, I have brought it indoors to warm up, hopefully that will help it stretch. The last time I put on a tyre I left it after struggling for 30 minutes then when I went back to it the last few inches went on in 30 seconds.
