Hi there sorry for the late reply.

I have looked in the carb and the fuel filter in there had some bits in it so I just replaced the entire carb as I had a spare. Note, the jets were not blocked and the filter didn't have much dirt around it. I have noticed an obvious enhancement of performance through the gears but the problem in the high revs still persists.

I have changed the oil twice already to make sure it's clean.
The problem still persists though.

I like the suggestion of the ht lead and I am trying that now. And changing the spark.

I will keep you updated as I'm going on a ride through the new forest on Monday for three days
