hi all , thanks for the kind words. well,now that's what you call a bimble

. I thoroughly enjoyed myself

and would recommend it to anyone who wants a wrecked bike. never seen roads(????!!) this rough

, ash likened it to rideing over a demolished factory and he was bob on. folk at hq were quite impressed that we,d tackled the toughest parts that many had avoided like boulder hill and the river crossing on the ancient sarn Helen track. when they realised we,d done it the wrong way round they were very impressed

. before the event we,d been advised should we get to this section to push your bikes over the bridge. fair enough so when we got there i obviously rode across, straight into the stone staircase that exits the river where I got completely jammed, cant go forward nor back , so I,m standing in the river up to my knees trying to drag the bike sideways , thinking

.as ash said, we were lucky enogh to pass quite a few bikes going the same way and even some comeing towards us who,d bottled it.

. total damage was 2 broken spokes, stretched chain, dented exhaust, sump oil leak, slipping clutch,bent foot rest, gear lever and brake pedal. I,m surprised it wasn't more. all in all, great w/end , cant wait till next time.
