got a few picks of the rot before i dropped and knackered my camera. believe me when i say it was a lot worse underneath. even the down tube inside the frame where there is an elongated dint in it had rotted through in the bottom of the dint. so engine out fuel tank out and all the back end and leccys out, upside down on the bench and out came the welding stick plant and the back pannel of an old washing machine. some six hours latter its solid as a rock. loads of red oxide and underseal and leave to dry over night. an early start this morning to avoid the rain, and all back together by dinner time, should be right for a few more years of bimbleing now. but will still look for a good frame and plan a total rebuild in a couple years.
