You'd smell a leak that bad, no doubt whatsoever.
That leaves 2 things.
It's been taken, or you miscalculated. I would re-calculate by brimming it and noting the mileage, ordinarily I'd say drive 70 miles or so, but if there is a prob you might not get that far, so carry a can. Either, note the miles when you run out, (3.6 litres depending on bike, Boo will know) or top up around 50-70 miles, divide litres put in to miles covered, multiply the answer by 4.54 to give gallons, to confirm your fears, or otherwise.
Once you're 100% certain, you can start looking at the other options.
