Those bikes look great. When Charlie Bormann was struggling up the African Mountain & had to abandon his 1200cc BMW he would have been better off on a bike like yours he would have easily managed it. It's surprising how far you can get in the snow on a cub.
When I live in Anglesey in the 60's I worked as a Commissioning Engineer on Wylfa Nuclear Power station & lived about a 3 miles from the site. In the winter when it snowed the back roads weren’t cleared the snowdrifts were some times about 2' deep the only traffic on the road were farmers tractors. I found that I could always get through on my Honda 50. The bike was so light I used to get off & drag it thought the drift using the engine. The engine used to get encased in snow but it never missed beat.
