I believe there would be no case to answer as the person in question is now dead and nothing can/could be proved in a court of law as there is no longer 'an injured party'. However the courts might not know she is dead and as Bob points out it would be worth getting in touch with them to let them know the situation. Don't worry, somehow I don't think you are going to court.
