Hello there,

Allow me to introduce myself properly, my name is Matt, I live in Bristol, and I've just brought a B reg Townmate 80.

She's not been used in years but with a bit of air in the tyres and fuel in the tank she started up and puttered happily along the lane.

I wonder there are any resident townmate boffins on this board? If so...
- Any tips for making the oil sightglass transparent again?
- What size battery should the bike have?
- Does a dodgy battery affect starting, or just consumer electrics?
