check your log book, if it states motorcycle you cant ride it at 16, even if you down size it to 50cc (some one on the other board had simular probs but the other way round, put a 125 in a moped and still couldnt ride it on motorways cause it was still regested as a moped) DVLA will change the cc to 50 but will NOT change the classification to moped if its classed as a motorcycle, i wish you all the best, but you are treading on dodgy ground, best thing to do would be to go to a dvla centre and ask them to be sure,
