hi dave, its not too bad a job if you,ve plenty of time . luckily with the sprocket in the same place as the cubs the engine is touching the frame on the other side which makes it easier. not a good idea to drop the engine by an inch as you,ll probably wear the s/arm tube away with the chain, so you might aswell puit in the standard cub position.i,ve used a another carb/manifold on mine with cub airbox. jj,s used standard anf airbox/carb and it goes really well. recently in france when we had to ride from guines to dunkirk to get jase,s bike from the police station it cruised up the autoroute at 55mph with both of us on easily. jj,s had innove frontend on one cub. i measured an anf s/arm to fit once and apart from the spindle been bigger which isnt a big problem its too long . go for it dave.
