Hi Paul,

Never hit anything on the motorway, however on the way to Wales in 2010 Ady had to swerve a set of canoe oars that emerged from under and artic.

Once on the roads locally I was riding spiritedly on my VT250 when a Mercedes V8 overtook, and kicked up a pebble the size of a walnut, and which hit my knee. I still remember it, really hurt!
