There are two problems I can think of that could be Etanol related.
1) the float valve tip is not truly nitrile rubber, just some generic sort so the ethanol is melting it a tad and it's sticking in the seat. You could cure this by removing the coating and grinding in the top to the seat with a dot of fine grinding paste. - remember to adjust the float height afterwards
2) The Ethanol is absorbing water either through a leaking cap or generally through the atmosphere, I suspect the fuel stays in the tank for a while before being used up, if so you might want to try the fuel preserver that garden shops sell for lawn mowers.
