Both wheels turn freely but the back brake seems to be fully adjusted up, there's no play in it whatsoever. The brake pedal will not push down. Hopefully just a little jiggling is all that's needed. The bike is covered in grease for protection and I wasn't in my 'dirty clothes' so I'll look at it another day. I only went down there with a screwdriver (for the battery) with the intention of just getting the bike going. Hub was a disbeliever and wasn't convinced when I told him that there was no reason why it shouldn't start. The look of surprise on his face was a picture!
