Did you drop the alloy washer in the old oil at the last change?

You can get a new one easily enough.

If not then make sure it's coming from the plug itself and not tracking down to the lowest point from the barrel or elsewhere.

Worst case would be a crack in the alloy from overtightening without the washer in place - best not go there!
