Hello All. I already have an LED rear light fitted but for the six quid that it costs for three of the LED assemblies detailed below I thought I would have a play at making a better one. ? Basically each of the LED units is 24mm in dia and has 24 white surface mount LED's.The idea is to mount the three in a row on a piece of circuit board with either the two outer as twin tail lights and the middle one as the brake light or the other way around. A plug to fit into the original socket can be made by breaking a standard tail bulb cleaning out the crap and soldering wires to the base contacts. Have done this before. Anyway Boo do you reckon that it will need a cheap bridge rectifier on the tail light side. ? OT Tried my first swig of kombucha last night. It had been brewing for three weeks in a clear class jar with a cloth over it. My sister said it looked like something you might find under a hospital bed with a tube running into it and I had to agree with her. I could only have a mouthful as the rest was needed to start new cultures for friends who would like to try it. Anyway its very nice, it tastes like fizzy scrumpy with steroids mixed in. Regards.
