I have 9000+ miles on my 2006 Innova. I am down to two marks on the rear axle where Honda put the 'chain adjusting marks'. I run my bike at a steady speed at all times and remove the chain off the bike once a year and wash in petrol. No 'hooking' yet on the chain. Oh, and I lube the chain every 600 miles.
