Hi there Bruce , yep mine have got 25k on the original gear & still going strong with very little wear if any !

! i lube it well @ every 3rd ride out & keep looking at the new gear ready waiting to be fitted on my garage shelf !

!
I seem to adjust it mainly when repairing flat rear unfortunately !

!
Oh , and i think i'm a safe slow careful rider !
