I have made some resistor based little heaters over the last few years. One of my friends doing the same sort of thing approached someone very knowledgeable in the field and asked about longevity of the assemblies. His reply was " when you are dead it wont be". I think its probably the same for Cub chains. Leave it very slack and lube it often. Anyone got a 50,ish sister need shagging. Regards. Bob.
