Thanks for the insight Bogger.

Journey into work seemed okay but then I didn't have stop many times.

But on the journey home it did cut out when at a junction.

When I stopped for shopping I did adjust the idle to furthest point screwed in and gradually turned it outwards until it 'seemed' okay.

But letting it tick over, it did eventually cut out.

I also noticed that if I turned the throttle quite quickly sometimes, it struggled to respond and almosy cut out.

So getting on the bike to return home, I got home and it died straight away.

So where I think it runs okay idling, it does for a while but then cuts out. Adjust it both ways and it still does the same. At one point I was turning the idle screw and the engine didn't react to the adjustment at all!

Does the idle screw come out completely please, enabling me to clean around it.

Bogger, I will try your wd40 experiment - thank you.

Thank you all to those who are helping me.

Determined to get to the bottom of this.

;)
