The old power in an hour redex treatment was good , start by removing the plug and pour some redex into the cylinder.Leave it for 1/2 an hour then turn the engine over with a rag over the plug hole to catch any liquid ,put the plug back in and start the engine ...lots of smoke ,now drip some redex into the carb whilst the engine is running and then test ride.They did injectors that could add some redex to the carb as you drove down the road .
