Hi, its a shame when that happens :s . I,ve only ever tackled one 6v frame rebuild and its much more tricky than a 12v. That double skin seems a recipe for disaster. once a 12v frame has been blasted , primered , all seams sealed before paint etc , its pretty much going to last forever. access through tank hole make drying and paining/waxoiling a doddle by comparison , but its because the 6v ,s look so nice makes it worth the hassle. :)
