C100 Questions.

Hey All,

I got a 65 C100 that has been sitting inside since probably 1968 (it still has plates from this year). I'm slowly working on getting the thing going

When I got it I could get it to turn over and run for about 10secs.

I replaced the fuel lines and put an inline fuel filter on the reserve, just in case.
I got a carb kit and took the carb apart and cleaned it really well and re-assembled it.

Now it starts and sounds pretty good, but if throttle up too high, or down too low, it stalls out. Is this a matter of carb adjustment/throttle adjustment? I do notice that the throttle handle does not snap back AT ALL but i hear that this may be how they worked stock.

Do y'all think that this is probably still a carb issue? Or could this kind of thing be caused by something else (points/timing/etc)?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I want to learn as much as I can about this thing and would rather not take it in and have someone else just do it for me.

thanks.

Dan. Van, Canada.
