Is it deffo the engine ?
Does it ONLY do it on the over run ?
My rear brake pedal chattered on the exhaust on the over run....
There IS a fix as Leiba knows.
Slacken off the rear brake.
Get a piece of green garden hose about 1 & 1/2 " long.
Where the rear brake lever mounts on the frame, there is a stop, a piece of metal rod sticking out.
Place the tube over this & then adjust the brake back up.
There will be a gap & the lever won't foul the exhaust !
