2009 Innova: Starter motor not working

Hi guys - help please!

We are currently away in our motorhome in darkest Portugal and the starter motor on my 2009 125cc fuel injected Innova has suddenly stopped working today.

When I turn on the ignition and press the starter button utterly nothing happens...no click, nothing.
The bike starts just fine on the kickstart, but what could be the cause of the electric starter not working?

Could it be the switch on the sidestand is buggered/dirty? If so, how do I dismantle/clean it?

Any other possible solutions please chaps!
