Hi newt I bought a 2009 700 4 years ago because of good write ups on the 650. traded my 1100 pan for one, pan was gettin to heavey.we took the trany over to france holland germany and denmark, 2000 miles in a week briliant bike , two up and hard luggage.very usable and i think if i drop it i could pick it up.in fact tommorow i will be rideing up to hampshire on it as i some times do its a 200mile commute.it will cope easy and my arse wont be numb when i get home.
