hi newt, there,s a guy called kev from swansea who,s been to rhayader a couple of times , you,ve probably met him. anyway, i remember him telling me he was a big transalp fan and he,d ridden one round the med , france , italy , north africa etc . he,d have an opinion, positive i excpect. i think he,s gone back to southern france now where he spent some time whilst on the above mentioned trip as he,d run out of cash and had to get a job . sounded like a great adventure. witha bit of luck he still reads and he,ll chip in.
