Scooters aren't really comparable to the Cub.. To me it's the Chinese Wave clones that are the true successors... Cheap to buy and reasonably quick depreciation.
Honda is importing the new 110 Super Cub - just with Wave 110 clothes on..

It's the same bike under the plastic, give or take a disc brake.
