We do live in a throw away culture where these cheap (and crap) Chinese scooters, are a form of disposable transport. They depreciate faster than they go & can be picked up for not a lot secondhand.

I doubt Honda would introduce the Supercub here mainly because of the competition in the scooter market,even though it would be a quality machine it cut down in the price by the Chinese junk. A lot of teenagers & new bikers wouldn't see the Cub as a long term bike, only as costing more than the plastic 125 badly made one.

When I was looking for a C90 last August my other half, wanted me to buy a big maxi scooter,and while they look the part I had my heart set on getting another Cub. I had had one briefly 11 years earlier & it left a big impression on me & still does.

Anyhow we still ride them :) .
