Not a temporary fix, but I am kind of proud of the air filter housing on my Monkey Bike. After changing the crank, barrel, piston and head of Monkey to take it from 72cc to 107cc, I then needed a new carb. I had a CV carb from a Honda SCV100, and a manifold and K&N style filter to suit. The only problem was the rain/splash cover for the filter had gone brittle and disintergrated. looking around for something suitable I discovered a plastic mug from an old Thermos. A few holes drilled in it and it does the job perfectly
