Drop in performance

Going to work, I am about a mile along my local by-pass. The bike is comfortably doing 45-50mph. The bike is oiled corectly and at temp.

For some reason the performance noticeably dropped.

I couldn't see if the performance returned as the by-pass came to an end and I was now on a 20 zone.

A few days before, I did notice that around a constant 30-32mph, the engine showed signs of dropping in and out of the correct performance.

Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this please?
