Hi, thanks to wightegi and newt for the leg work much appreciated . I spoke to the chap in the new inn to cancel, what a nice guy. I explained that we were keen to be closer to the folk festival , rather than be a bit miffed with cancelation he was full of suggestions on where to try . his final word was "if you cant find any where and I,ve still got room you can camp here" .
I finally managed to get an answer at acton and we are now booked in there . cant wait. just a thought ,on fiday,if we did have a few swift ones at site while stragglers arrive we could go to that pub nearby . on sat, get to museum at opening time 10 am. they suggest 5 hrs for visit which means we could be back by 5. I,ve decided to bring my push bike so I could run everyone down to swanage come back with ironside who,s the lightest then we could both come back on bike,rolling into town, me on the seat , ironside on the handlebars , legs akimbo , hair undulating in the breeze like a scene from butch Cassidy. 8) I,m excited.
a nice bonus was that I had a quick look to see who,s playing at festival and I noticed "stick in the wheel " are there <3 fablus!
I,m hoping to be there around 2.30 with Jason, ironside and my mate tyres.
bogger, I,m also disappointed you cant come , its right up your street.
fbt, I,ve booked you in now, so you have to come :) . Andy and the other proper bikers, don't forget to ask if you need anything picking up. ta.
